YOU HAVE TO FIND BETH CHILDS

It’s a condition that uh sometimes occurs with identical twins. Kind of a yin-yang sort of thing. One of them’s right-handed, one of them’s left-handed. One of them has their heart on the left side and one of them has their heart…
This may have been one of the most important scenes in the story so far. It shows Sarah has realized just how observant and thoughtful her daughter really is, beyond last season’s “You don’t miss a thing, do you?” And she gets down on Kira’s level and shows her that she values her opinion of things and trusts her. Kira may have a better feel for what’s going on than any other character in the show.
I loved that too. I also love the fact that Kira does sense something is off about Siobhan. She has lived with her all her life but that doesn’t mean she is going to ignore the signals she’s receiving about Mrs. S. That’s incredible when you think about it…not only that she has the insight in the first place but also the emotional maturity not to dismiss or ignore her instincts.
And let’s be clear here. Mrs. S is lying to Sarah. This much we know is certain and I think this is what both Sarah and Kira are picking up on. That said, while Siobhan clearly had some shady dealings in her past, I have no doubt that she loves Kira and I believe loves Sarah as well. I think it broke her heart when she saw the fear and doubt in Sarah’s eyes before she stepped away and let the truck pass by.
But I do feel when all is said and done that Siobhan will have proven herself to Sarah and Kira and regained their trust and will have redeemed any past wrongs.
